PROYECTO DE NORMA OFICIAL MEXICANA PROY-NOM-004-SAG/GAN-2018, PRODUCCIÓN DE MIEL Y ESPECIFICACIONES. La presente Norma Oficial Mexicana establece las características generales para la producción de miel que propicien el cuidado de las abejas melíferas y su correcto desarrollo, así como, las especificaciones que la miel debe cumplir para su comercialización, ya sea para consumo directo y/o procesamiento; a fin de coadyuvar en el desarrollo de la apicultura nacional y la competitividad de la cadena de la miel. Esta norma es de observancia obligatoria a personas físicas o morales que se dediquen a la producción y/o comercialización de miel nacional o de importación, procedente de abejas melíferas, que se comercialice o se pretenda comercializar dentro del territorio de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos en sus diferentes presentaciones, cuya denominación debe corresponder a la establecida en esta Norma Oficial Mexicana.

MEXICAN OFFICIAL STANDARD PROJECT PROY-NOM-004-SAG / GAN-2018, HONEY PRODUCTION AND SPECIFICATIONS. This Official Mexican Standard establishes the general characteristics for the production of honey that promote the care of honey bees (Apis mellifera) and their correct development, as well as the specifications that the honey must fulfill for its commercialization, either for direct consumption and/or processing, in order to contribute to the development of the Mexican beekeeping and the competitiveness of the honey chain. This standard is of obligatory por legal persons or corporations who dedicate themselves to the production and/or marketing of national or imported honey from honey bees (Apis mellifera), that is commercialized or intended to be commercialized, within the territory of the United Mexican States, in its different presentations whose denomination must correspond to that established in this official Mexican norm.
