Los presentes Lineamientos establecen las disposiciones que garantizan el adecuado funcionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores (SNII), las cuales representan una referencia importante para el desempeño de las funciones de las autoridades del SNII, tales como el Consejo General, los órganos consultivos, las comisiones dictaminadoras y revisora y de la Junta de Honor, así como la regulación de la actuación de las personas investigadoras y ayudantes que son parte del Sistema Nacional referido, con base en la Ley General en materia de Humanidades, Ciencias y Tecnologías y el Reglamento del SNII.

These Guidelines set forth the provisions governing the proper operation of the National System of Researchers (SNII). Such provisions shall serve as a binding reference for the exercise of the functions of the SNII authorities, including the General Council, the consultative bodies, the reviewing and evaluating commissions, and the Board of Honor, as well as for the regulation of the conduct of the researchers and assistants forming part of the aforementioned National System, pursuant to the General Law on Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies and the Regulations of the SNII.
