Este Protocolo proporciona elementos conceptuales, estrategias y mecanismos que orientan la actuación no solo de las personas servidoras públicas de la Procuraduría Federal de Protección de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes del Sistema Nacional para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, instancia responsable de su cumplimiento, sino también de las Procuradurías de Protección de los Sistemas Estatales y Municipales DIF, que, conforme a sus competencias, tienen la responsabilidad de atender y prevenir casos de niñas, niños y adolescentes víctimas de delitos o en situación de vulnerabilidad. Su objetivo es garantizar la prevención, protección, atención y restitución integral de sus derechos.

This Protocol provides conceptual elements, strategies, and mechanisms to guide the actions not only of public servants within the Federal Attorney's Office for the Protection of Children and Adolescents of the National System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (DIF), the agency responsible for its implementation, but also of the Child Protection Offices of the State and Municipal DIF Systems, which, according to their respective jurisdictions, are responsible for addressing and preventing cases of children and adolescents who are victims of crimes or in vulnerable situations. Its objective is to guarantee the prevention, protection, care, and full restoration of their rights.
