According to FIRA’s mandate and responsibilities, the institution has identified the objectives it can influence to contribute to achieving the goals set forth in the National Development Plan 2025-2030 (PND in its Spanish acronym), as well as in the National Development Financing Program 2025-2030 (PRONAFIDE in its Spanish acronym). To this end, FIRA’s Institutional Program 2025-2030 outlines the following three priority objectives: 1) Expand financial inclusion in the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors, with a focus on vulnerable groups and promoting conditions for substantive equality; 2) Stimulate productive investment in the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors to drive growth and efficiency in value chains; and 3) Promote sustainable development in environmental and social matters within the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors, and enhance their adaptation and resilience to climate change.
Additionally, the Program specifies the priority strategies and specific lines of action that will be implemented to achieve these goals, as well as the indicators that provide the quantitative basis for measuring their fulfillment.
