De acuerdo con el mandato y atribuciones de FIRA, la institución identificó los fines en los que puede incidir para contribuir al logro de las metas establecidas en el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo 2025-2030 (PND), así como en el Programa Nacional de Financiamiento del Desarrollo 2025-2030 (PRONAFIDE). Para lo anterior, el Programa Institucional 2025-2030 de FIRA considera como los tres objetivos prioritarios a los siguientes: 1) Expandir la inclusión financiera en el sector agroalimentario, forestal y del medio rural, con énfasis en grupos vulnerables procurando condiciones para la igualdad sustantiva; 2) Estimular la inversión productiva en el sector agroalimentario, forestal y del medio rural, para impulsar el crecimiento y eficiencia en las cadenas de valor y, 3) Fomentar el desarrollo sostenible en materia ambiental y social en el sector agroalimentario, forestal y del medio rural y aumentar su adaptación y resiliencia ante el cambio climático. Adicionalmente, en el Programa se señalan las estrategias prioritarias y líneas de acción puntuales que se implementarán para su consecución, así como los indicadores (metas para el bienestar y parámetros) que proporcionan el medio cuantitativo para medir su cumplimiento.

According to FIRA’s mandate and responsibilities, the institution has identified the objectives it can influence to contribute to achieving the goals set forth in the National Development Plan 2025-2030 (PND in its Spanish acronym), as well as in the National Development Financing Program 2025-2030 (PRONAFIDE in its Spanish acronym). To this end, FIRA’s Institutional Program 2025-2030 outlines the following three priority objectives: 1) Expand financial inclusion in the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors, with a focus on vulnerable groups and promoting conditions for substantive equality; 2) Stimulate productive investment in the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors to drive growth and efficiency in value chains; and 3) Promote sustainable development in environmental and social matters within the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors, and enhance their adaptation and resilience to climate change. Additionally, the Program specifies the priority strategies and specific lines of action that will be implemented to achieve these goals, as well as the indicators that provide the quantitative basis for measuring their fulfillment.
