The regulatory proposal does not generate compliance costs for individuals; on the contrary, it seeks to expedite the waiting period for applicants for a permit, modification, or update thereof, related to the sale of petroleum products to the public through service stations. The reduction of the time period established in the Regulations for the activities referred to in Title Three of the Hydrocarbons Law, or alternatively, in the Federal Law of Administrative Procedure, may be issued through an Agreement in accordance with Article 84 of the General Law on Regulatory Improvement, which establishes that the procedures and services provided for in laws, regulations, or any other provision issued by executive branch officials at different levels of government may be simplified through general agreements published by the heads of the Obligated Subjects, within their respective areas of jurisdiction, in the corresponding media outlet. The simplification action to which this Agreement is directed is that cited in Article 84, sections I and II. IV and V.
With the issuance of the Agreement submitted for consideration by CONAMER, the aim is to generate simplification actions that will streamline procedures for interested parties, materialize investments in the energy sector in the shortest possible time, and provide greater certainty and confidence to individuals. Therefore, the Regulatory Proposal does not generate compliance costs for individuals.
