The Agreement establishes the organizational structure, territorial jurisdiction, and operational framework of the economic development centers for well-being across Mexico’s federative entities. These Centers replace the former Regional Offices of the Ministry of Economy.
The Agreement assigns a defined territorial scope and official headquarters to each of the 35 Centers and formalizes their coordination with central administrative units through the “General Directorate of Economic Development Centers for Well-being.
Additionally, it outlines complementary responsibilities for the CFEB, such as engagement with the productive sector, price monitoring, support for public economic registries, and assistance with foreign trade matters. In addition, it provides for the issuance of operational guidelines and the publication of official addresses for the Centers within six months from the effective date of the Agreement.
