La iniciativa regula la reproducción y uso del Escudo Nacional; el uso, difusión y honores a la Bandera Nacional, así como la reproducción, transmisión o retransmisión de dicho lábaro patrio; la ceremonia de incineración de la Bandera Nacional; la ejecución y difusión del Himno Nacional, así como su reproducción, transmisión o retransmisión del Himno Nacional en Accesorios. A su vez, establece los procedimientos para cantar o ejecutar el Himno Nacional y su registro; para cantar o ejecutar el himno de otras naciones en el territorio nacional, y para el uso de símbolos patrios en eventos deportivos, culturales o de otra naturaleza de carácter internacional.

The initiative regulates the reproduction and use of the National Coat of Arms; the use, dissemination, and honoring of the National Flag, as well as the reproduction, transmission, or retransmission of said national flag; the burning ceremony of the National Flag; the performance and dissemination of the National Anthem, as well as the reproduction, transmission, or retransmission of the National Anthem in Accessories. It also establishes the procedures for singing or performing the National Anthem and its registration; for singing or performing the anthems of other nations within the national territory; and for the use of national symbols at sporting, cultural, or other international events.
