The Regulatory Proposal seeks to incorporate the figure of simplified issuers, established in the reform to the Securities Market Law through modifications to said regulatory body, which includes new obligations for stock exchanges regarding the registration, listing, maintenance, and cancellation of securities of simplified issuers in the National Securities Registry. This reinforces the compliance with internal regulations, manuals, and policies of the stock exchanges, and establishes reporting mechanisms and preventive and disciplinary measures applicable to simplified issuers. Additionally, this proposal also allows the trading of securities of simplified issuers on any stock exchange and specifies the procedures for the suspension and lifting of listings, as well as the monitoring and correction of guidelines applicable to simplified issuers.
