El transitorio Tercero del Acuerdo por el que la Secretaría de Salud da a conocer los formatos de certificados de defunción y muerte fetal, publicado en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el 28 de diciembre de 2021, prevé la obligatoriedad de publicar en este medio oficial de difusión el procedimiento para la expedición de la versión electrónica de los certificados de defunción y de muerte fetal, mismos que se expedirán a través de un sistema electrónico único y exclusivo que formará parte del Subsistema Epidemiológico y Estadístico de Defunciones (SEED), el cual será establecido y administrado por la Dirección General de Información en Salud (DGIS) como lo señala el artículo quinto fracciones I y II del Acuerdo en mención. En este sentido, la regulación propuesta mejorará el flujo de trabajo e información de los actores involucrados en el proceso de captura, registro, expedición y validación del certificado de defunción y muerte fetal, sin que ello genere costos adicionales a los interesados.

The Third Transitory of the Agreement by which the Ministry of Health discloses the formats of death and fetal death certificates, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on December 28, 2021, provides for the obligation to publish in this official means of dissemination the procedure for the issuance of the electronic version of death and fetal death certificates. which will be issued through a unique and exclusive electronic system that will be part of the Epidemiological and Statistical Subsystem of Deaths (SEED), which will be established and administered by the General Directorate of Health Information (DGIS) as indicated in article five, sections I and II of the aforementioned Agreement. In this sense, the proposed regulation will improve the workflow and information of the actors involved in the process of capturing, registering, issuing and validating the certificate of death and fetal death, without generating additional costs for the interested parties.
