El 26 de febrero de 2020, se publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF) el "Acuerdo por el que la persona Titular de la Dirección General de Normatividad Mercantil de la Secretaría de Economía delega atribuciones" (Acuerdo delegatorio), con el propósito de procurar la mejor organización del trabajo administrativo de dicha unidad administrativa y para el ejercicio eficaz y eficiente de las atribuciones conferidas en el Reglamento Interior de la Secretaría de Economía. El 12 de abril de 2021, se publicó en el DOF el "Decreto por el que se reforman, adicionan y derogan diversas disposiciones del Reglamento Interior de la Secretaría de Economía", mediante el cual, entre otras cuestiones, se previó en su artículo 38, penúltimo párrafo, el personal que auxilia a la persona titular de la Dirección General de Normatividad Mercantil en el ejercicio de sus facultades, y toda vez que Reglamento Interior de la Secretaría de Economía ya prevé a las personas servidoras públicas que auxilian a la Dirección General de Normatividad Mercantil en el ejercicio de sus facultades y con ello dotar de una mayor certidumbre jurídica con respecto a la organización del trabajo administrativo de dicha unidad administrativa.
