RESOLUCIÓN QUE REFORMA, ADICIONA Y DEROGA DIVERSOS ARTÍCULOS DE LA QUE EXPIDE EL FORMATO OFICIAL PARA EL INTERCAMBIO DE INFORMACIÓN DE CLIENTES Y USUARIOS CON ENTIDADES FINANCIERAS EXTRANJERAS, EN TÉRMINOS DE LAS DISPOSICIONES DE CARÁCTER GENERAL A QUE SE REFIERE EL ARTÍCULO 115 DE LA LEY DE INSTITUCIONES DE CRÉDITO, ASÍ COMO EL INSTRUCTIVO PARA SU LLENADO. Con el objetivo de robustecer el cumplimiento a las Recomendaciones 18 y 40 del Grupo de Acción Financiera y sus Notas Interpretativas, resulta necesario ampliar el alcance de la información que las instituciones de crédito pueden intercambiar de conformidad con la “Resolución por la que se expide el formato oficial para el intercambio de información de clientes y usuarios con entidades financieras extranjeras, en términos de las Disposiciones de carácter general a que se refiere el artículo 115 de la Ley de Instituciones de Crédito, así como el instructivo para su llenado”, publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el 30 de marzo de 2015.

RESOLUTION AMENDING, ADDING, AND REPEALING SEVERAL ARTICLES OF THE RESOLUTION ISSUING THE OFFICIAL FORMAT FOR THE EXCHANGE OF CUSTOMER AND USER INFORMATION WITH FOREIGN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, IN TERMS OF THE GENERAL PROVISIONS REFERRED TO IN ARTICLE 115 OF THE LAW OF CREDIT INSTITUTIONS, AS WELL AS THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ITS COMPLETION. To strengthen compliance with Recommendations 18 and 40 of the Financial Action Task Force and its Interpretative Notes, it is necessary to expand the scope of the information that credit institutions may exchange under the “Resolution issuing the official format for the exchange of information on customers and users with foreign financial institutions, in terms of General Provisions referred to in Article 115 of the Law of Credit Institutions, as well as the instructions for its completion”, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 30, 2015.
