El presente estatuto regula la organización y funcionamiento de la Comisión Nacional de Libros de Texto Gratuitos y determina las facultades y obligaciones de sus funcionarios y la competencia de sus unidades administrativas, de conformidad con la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, la Ley Orgánica del Servicio Público Federal Administración, la Ley Federal de Entidades Paraestatales y su Reglamento, y el Decreto por el que se crea “la Comisión” como Ente Público Descentralizado.

To update the regulatory framework of the National Commission of free Textbooks (hereinafter referred to as CONALITEG), as well as its organization and operatitin. This statute regulates the organization and operation of the National Commission for Free Textbooks and determines the powers and obligations of its officials and the competence of its administrative units, in accordance with the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, the Organic Law of the Federal Public Service Administration, the Federal Law of Parastatal Entities and its Regulations, and the Decree that creates “the Commission” as a Decentralized Public Entity.
