El 30 de septiembre del 2019 se publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el “Decreto por el que se expide la Ley General de Educación y se abroga la Ley General de la Infraestructura Física Educativa”, mismo que en su transitorio Cuarto señala la extinción del organismo descentralizado denominado Instituto Nacional de la Infraestructura Física Educativa (INIFED), y establece, entre otras disposiciones la obligación de la Secretaría de Educación Pública de establecer las bases para llevar a cabo la liquidación del referido Instituto. Las Bases de Liquidación señalan la forma y términos en que se llevará a cabo el proceso de liquidación, las cuales deberán apegarse a criterios de eficiencia, eficacia y transparencia, así como garantizar la adecuada protección del interés público.

On September 30, 2019 was published the “Decree issuing the General Law of Education and abrogating the General Law of the Physical Educational Infrastructure” in the Official Gazette of the Federation, which in its transitory Fourth indicates the extinction of the decentralized body called National Institute of Educational Physical Infrastructure (INIFED), and establishes, among other provisions, the obligation of the Ministry of Public Education to establish the bases to carry out the liquidation of the referred Institute. The Liquidation Bases indicate the form and terms in which the settlement process will be carried out, which must adhere to criteria of efficiency, effectiveness and transparency, as well as guarantee an adequate protection of the public interest.
