On July 17, 2015 the Decree Promulgatory of the Framework Agreement of the Pacific Alliance was signed, signed in Paranal, Antofagasta, Republic of Chile, on June 6, two thousand and twelve, through which Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Peru constitute the Pacific Alliance as an area of regional integration. The Additional Protocol to the Framework Agreement of the Pacific Alliance, signed in Cartagena de Indias, D.T. and C., Republic of Colombia, on February 10, 2014 (the Additional Protocol), was published on April 29, 2016 and entered into force on the 1st. May 2016. For its part, the Free Trade Commission adopted Decision No. 4 regarding the General Procedure for the Issuance and Reception of Certificates of Origin Issued and Electronically Signed in the Framework of the Interoperability of the Foreign Trade Single Windows in the Pacific Alliance. In this regard, this Agreement does not generate costs or obligations for individuals and is intended to inform authorities and individuals of Decision No. 4 of the Free Trade Commission of the Additional Protocol to the Framework Agreement of the Pacific, adopted on June 28, 2017, relative to the General Procedure for the Issuance and Reception of Certificates of Origin Issued and Electronically Signed in the Framework of the Interoperability of the Foreign Trade Single Windows in the Pacific Alliance.
